People of His Word is a website dedicated to encouraging people to prayerfully open God’s Word and correctly interpret it in order to grow in their love and faith for God Himself. God’s Word is a school master to teach us, a law to reprove and correct us, and a road map to abounding grace that saves us! It is the story of Jesus Christ from cover to cover! Our prayer is that you’ll be encouraged by this website to see the value in God’s Word.
We are two brothers in Jesus Christ who met at Bible College in 2010. We have always taken joy in being able to encourage one another as we talk about the God-inspired Word, and we are excited to have the opportunity to share this joy with you!

Matthew was born and raised in Muskegon, MI. He studied Pastoral Studies at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and currently studies at Pellissippi State Community College. He has a beautiful wife, Sarah, and two children, Micah and Eve. Pictures of his family are below! They currently live in Knoxville, TN.
Marc

Marc is a writer, Bible teacher, and candidate for the Master of Divinity degree at the Bob Jones University Seminary in Greenville, SC. He is a former adolescent counselor for juvenile sex offenders and a former volunteer chaplain at the Spartanburg County Detention Center in Spartanburg, SC. He studied psychology at California State University (Hayward Campus). He holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling from Bob Jones University and BJU Seminary.

Matthew’s Wife
Sarah grew up here in Tennessee and works at Chick-fil-a. She has been so patient and helpful with me going back to school and is a wonderful, talented mother. Sarah loves doing arts and crafts and is a Sunday School teacher in our church.
Micah
Matthew’s Son
Micah is currently 8 years old and loves board games, hiking, and anything to do with bugs! He also is the proud owner of two hermit crabs that he does an awesome job caring for daily.
Eve
Matthew’s Daughter
Eve is currently 5 years old. She loves ballerinas, unicorns, and anything pink or yellow! She is in Kindergarten this year and is having a blast! She loves to go hiking with us and she never meets a stranger. 🙂
